Don’t we moan about just anything
It sure could be about everything
The weather was always too cold or hot
We talk unceasingly about all what not
In winter, the frost and the ice
In summer, the heat not so nice
So what happens to give thanks with a grateful heart?

Don’t we moan about just anything
It sure could be about everything
Work was always tiring
Sure will be better retiring
Nothing at work seem exciting
Would just prefer to be relaxing
We hold on to all negativity
And push out any positivity
So what happens to give thanks with a grateful heart?

Don’t we moan about just anything?
It sure could be about everything
Family members are never understanding
Others fit the bill and no bashing
that brother’s wife is nothing but perfect
that sister’s man has absolutely no defect
siblings bicker all day
almost wishing the other not to stay
so what happens to give thanks with a grateful heart?

So what do you readily moan about?
We seem to have a ready doubt
Is it that we choose not to trust and obey
Or we would rather do it our own way?
God wants us to keep a thankful heart
Trusting that He will do His part
Determine to give thanks today
Its beautiful by the way
