February Week 1 Acceptable Year I
HEAL THE BROKEN HEARTED.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luke 4:18

As part of the package our Lord delivered to his children when he came to our mother planet was a ministry to heal the broken hearted. Broken hearted people are mostly people who are overwhelmed with life’s challenges, burdened with the seemingly insurmountable questions that stare them in the face. Are you broken hearted? Do you believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Then, relax there is healing for you!!
In the book of Luke 8:41, a man named Jairus approached Jesus in so much distress seeking healing for his daughter who was very sick at home. Upon hearing of the man’s predicament, Jesus decided to head to the home of Jairus to heal the daughter but before he got to their home, news came that the daughter had already passed. Can you imagine the hopelessness Jairus might have gone through when the news sunk deep into his heart? But the Good News is that Jesus was right there to assure him, “Fear not believe only and she shall be made whole.” I entreat all to read the rest of the story in the book of Luke 8:41-56. If Jesus carried out this ministry 2000 years ago, what makes you think he cannot do same today? He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen. Whatever Jesus did in the past was accomplished for us also and can be replicated in our lives. Have you lost a son? Are you suffering from an ailment that the doctors cannot heal? There is a man and his name is Jesus, he came to heal the broken hearted. Receive the healing you need today in the name of Jesus Christ. Christians today have Christ living in us, working in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Do not be overcome with broken heart. Greater is he that is in you that he that is in the world. There is good news for you. All is not lost. This is the Acceptable Year of God. Nobody ever comes to Christ broken hearted and leaves the same. Do you remember Lazarus? Do you remember what our Lord did when all hope was dashed? There is hope for you my brethren. There is a healing available for you. God’s abundance life i.e. eternal life is at work in you; his Spirit is at rest in you. Be strong in the grace in Christ Jesus. God bless you.
Prayer:
Dear Father Lord, I thank you for coming to fulfill your mission of healing the broken hearted of the earth. I magnify your name for your assurance of dependability. I know that as you healed the broken hearted in the past, you are capable of doing it today. I the receive healing you have already made available to me by the Holy Spirit in all aspects of my life in Jesus mighty name. I also receive healing for all sick saints around the world; I receive healing for my country and the continent of Africa in Jesus name Amen.
