Encouragement
The day I fell in love with King Jesus, truly fell in love with Him was the moment I walked up to an altar service, my memory is foggy because I was demonically oppressed, however, I don’t remember anything except my spirit crying out for salvation.
Stumbling forward, the Pastors laid hands on me and rebuked the demon. I felt the grip of the devils hold on me and I cried out “Jesus Save Me”, just then Jesus touched me and I floated into His arms, right into my freedom.
When I could get up I rolled to my knees, I remember the gratitude that washed over me.
I always think about Mary Magdalene when she met with Jesus, and I am pretty certain I felt the same gratitude as she did in that moment.
The name above all names, “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus” poured out of my lips as I wept, my saviour just plucked me out of the depths of Hell in just one moment.
After that I had a hunger birthed inside of me to know the true Jesus, the Jesus that had come down and walked this earth, hung on a tree, and died brutally so that I might live.
Desperate, I then started running towards God's heart full speed ahead with every ounce in me, a train that has not and will not run out of steam.
Pursuing the King offering myself to Him, totally surrendered and desperately in love until my last breath.
By doing so, I have broken out of the bondage that had so ensnared my mind and my body for my entire 36 years.
As I have been walking these past two years I have seen Jesus perform miracles, witnessed His presence in ways that actually made me tremble in fear, and I have watched His love release people into freedom.
As a baby Christian in full-time ministry, I have heard the phrase “you don't want to burn out, this is a marathon and not a race”.
How can you run out of steam, when you are seeking after your Bridegroom, has been the question that quakes in my spirit?
“He gives you strength to soar on wings like eagles, and you will run and not grow weary” is what He promises.
The only time I run out of steam is when I have to do my own daily tasks like cleaning the house, washing the dishes, but running after Jesus is exhilarating.
God has been sharing His heart and His concerns that there are Christians that love Jesus but have lost their fire.
And He wants his Bride to know that a refreshing is coming to those who seek it, like a cool rain on a parched and dry land.
Beloved, we must be desperate for more of God, to seek God's heart, and thirst like King David for more of His Presence, the reward is great. Church we cannot afford to NOT be desperate.
Let’s go forth and pray for fire impartations into our Spirits, to hunger for Him deeper, to desperately long to be His friend, walking hand in hand with Him in the cool of the day.
The Lord is urging us to ask Him what is on His heart when we sit in the secret place communing with Him.
“Call out to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things” (Jeremiah 33:3).
If you are out of steam, feeling as if you're in the wilderness or weary, God wants you to “Call out to Him” and He will answer.
Reach your hand out and He will grab hold.
The living God is ready to lavish His love on His children.
There is so much more to explore about God the Father, and Jesus through the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
The one thing in my life I fear deeply is getting used to God and taking His presence for granted. As a body, we must stay constantly in Awe of His Majestic ways.
Beloved, the Father speaks over you “Here I am to love you, Here I am to speak to your heart, Here I am right next to you, all you have to do is call out to Me”.
I called out to Jesus with a simple “Jesus Save Me”, and he forever changed my life, remember He is just a call away.
