The Dark Night of Politics

Politics, you slimy thing,
to people of power word
bending bring.
Knowing this but saying that,
making deals with wrong,
in fact.
Knowing, as they surely do,
that if the people only knew...
they'd lose the power given
to them.
And so, they lie, connive, and scam:
becoming blinded to the truth
and by using tricks they bend to you,
the slimy spirit of Politics.

"You did not know the time of your visitation."
Luke 20:42

Disobedience to God's paths and ways hides blessings from our sight:
not permitting us to see the light, or hear the voice of God, in Politics Dark Night.

Truths are in The Word of God:there it is that we clearly see the Paths of Blessing, and understand how to seize "the day of visitation."

To the People of God this I say, Pray, Pray, Pray.
