Creatively using our Gifts (like David did)-dj eckert

There are four great Gifts (From HIS
image ) that our CREATOR endowed to ALL mankind.

Gift number ONE is our ability to Love; ultimately to worship Him. (and at least TRY to be like Him.)

God's second Gift to us is our ability to Reason. This gives to us the power to seek, find and know the Truth: ultimately HIM.
(and at least TRY to know like HIM)

The third Gift is Our freewill ; ultimately our ability to CHOOSE to LOVE HIM and to be eternally FREE LIKE HIM.

Even God's angels were given THESE first three Gifts.
When Lucifer and his cohort angels chose not to love Him, (wasting God's Gifts) .....I can't help but to wonder if THIS rebellion was resultant somehow of God bestowing to us humans HIS Fourth great Gift (in HIS image) ...
THIS Gift that GOD did NOT give to the angels , the Gift that seems to be the source of much of our anguishing and languishing here on earth...

This fourth Gift being our ability to CREATE.

This Gift to be able to create like HIM has subsequently given Lucifer great jealous hatred for mankind!
( the reason for his fall perhaps???)
Now Lucifer , who CAN'T create ANYTHING! rides on the creative backs of wicked humans in his feeble attempt to try and ascend to being a "god" over the SUPERIOR to him Human race that he HATES.
He KNOWS he will fail in this, but his pride
( the ultimate sin that God despises), is on a quest to destroy as many Humans as he can. ( get them to choose incorrectly... lies NOT Truth)

I think the LORD takes HIS greatest delight when we boldly put into action all FOUR of HIS gifts.

A great illustration of this is in one simple Bible verse :
Psalms 33:3 KJV
Sing unto Him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

Sing (freely Choosing) unto Him a new(created by us) song(worship); play skillfully (putting into action our reasoning brain ) with a loud noise.(Boldly proclaiming love)

No wonder David was known as being a man who was after God's heart.
