I recently heard a message by a pastor named Greg Boyd who received his theological education at Princeton Thelogical Seminary and Yale Divinity School.  These schools are by no means conservative and it is my view that these schools like most theological schools in America and around the world have turn aside from the true gospel to embrace a false gospel that is man centered and humanistic rather than Biblically based on the historic creeds and worship of the early church.

In one video interview on the kingdom of God I commented that Greg Boyd has not established a sufficient Biblical world and life view with a Biblical view of church and state and if this is what the church today believes then it is no wonder that the church which is the salt of the earth has lost its savor and is good for nothing but to be cast out and trodden under foot by men.

The apostle Paul writes: "Beware lest any man [educator, politician, rock star, news anchorman/woman] take you captive through vain and deceitful philosophy [naturalism, materialism, existentialism, pragmaticism], after the tradition of men [Marx, Darwin, Nietzsche, Wellhausen, Freud, Dewey, Foucault], after the rudiments of the world [socialism, evolution, higher criticism, humanism, moral relativism, deconstructionism, collectivism], and not after Christ." —Colossians 2:8

James Orr in this classic book, "The Christian View of God and the World" says: "He who believes with his whole heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God is thereby committed to much else besides. He is committed to a view of God, to a view of man, to a view of sin, to a view of redemption, to a view of the purpose of God in creation and history, to a view of human destiny. God is sovereign over every area of life and thought so how can Greg Boyd say that political opinions are rendered irrelevant as long as you have Jesus in common?

Every local church member says he has Jesus in his heart but this kind of Christianity is worthless for the most part as can been seen by the worldliness and ungodliness in most 501 c3 incorporated churches. Believers are the "light of the world" (Matt.5:14-16) They are to shed the light of God's Word on the world, including it's political institutions.

Admittedly man's basic problem is sin and any government that calls good evil and evil good is not only an evil government but it is an abomination to the Lord. Such governments should be opposed and like Daniel today's Christians should purpose in their heart not to defile themselves with the king's meat. (Dan. 1:8) to this man Christians should have no problem with a government like Communism which is atheistic and humanistic and statist to the core, after all didn't Jesus live under an oppressive government? This is the heresy that both government schools and State churches teach today for the most part and Romans 13 is used to justify their worship of the Beast. . "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2 Thess. 2:11-12)
