God never said, I would not have troubles,
In fact the opposite is true,
For as I live for Jesus our Lord,
Each day I awake, my troubles are new..


Many battles I've fought, and have many scars,
Many heartaches and failures I see,
There were deserts of loneliness that impeded my way,
And I question why God's chosen me.

"Lord I'm not strong, or by a means brave,
Are you sure that it's me that You choose?
What talents do I have, and why me be the one?
Unless You have nothing to lose."

God answered me like lightning and thunder,
My son,.... I AM, THAT I AM,
I WILL BE WITH YOU WHERE EVER YOU GO,
FEAR NOT, I WILL MAKE YOU TO STAND.

Do NOT question God why He's chosen you,
Remember He'll make you to stand,
His power is with you even in death,
And you'll rise a much better man.
