Value's been placed upon my life,
Christ came and died for me,
His blood, His life, a sacrifice
My life to guarantee.

He knew me in eternity
Before my life began,
Created me just as I am
Because He had a plan.

A plan to love me and to use
My life to others bless,
A purpose for which I'm designed
That only I possess.

Uniquely purposed for this plan,
For work He'd have me do,
In which I'll find fulfillment
More than I ever knew.

And, more than that, I'm cherished,
He wants to be with me,
So much that He would give His life
For my eternity.

How can I treat so recklessly,
How can I cast away,
What He so lovingly designed,
His purposes betray?
