Psalm 23, a Psalm by David. A young boy who tended to sheep, was called to the frontline to put a giant to sleep and silence the voices of those that wouldn't believe. With a faith-filled sling, that young boy became a fearless king. He fought for God on both battlefield and paper and with the words of The Creator engraved in his palms, he praised the one true King by writing Psamls. Psalm 23, You, Lord, are my Shepherd, I will never be in need. God You are all I want, You are all I need. Your love for me is my only necessity. You let me rest in green pastures with your glorious light touching my skin. I can feel You beside me Lord, as I'm breathing You in. You lead me to streams of peaceful water where Your grace overflows. You refresh my life as I drink from Your fountain; being born again my soul is torn from sin. God You are true to Your name, You guide me along the right path. You are my lighthouse when the storm gets rough, the most unfailing compass to have. I may walk through valleys as dark as death, I might even lose my breath, fly high the one moment and the next fall to the lowest depths. Still then I wont be afraid. Even if I am betrayed, lose everything and live like a slave, be drenched in dismay; still I will not fear because You are with me. Your rod and staff protects and comforts me. You build a barrier around my soul, making it impossible for enemies to take control. You treat me to a feast while my enemies watch. While they are condemned, I am being treated first class. You honor me as Your guest, and my cup overflows with blessing. A glorious feeling, as Your oil of absolution rains down on me, setting me free as I'm indulged by Your grace and peace. Your kindness and love will always be with me each day of my life. You will never leave my side. I am favored and will praise You with pride, I will lift Your name high, follow You till the day I die. I will live in the house of my Lord, forever. We will never be devided, never be severed. Nothing can seperate us, I am sattisfied because, I am loved.
