Mark the Perfect Man

Ps 37:37
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

This is a verse for us to be encouraged to strive to perfection in our pilgrimage on this land of the living.

Mark ...shamar..hb, meaning ...to hedge about, ...guard, ...to protect, ...attend to, ...observe, ...preserve, ...regard, ...wait for, ...watch, the perfect Man.

Why so?

The bible says the end of that man is peace.

He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness. Isa 57:2

This means the perfect man has something with him that has produced his end. That quality we are to regard, observe and attend to it in our own lives. The end we desire the bible says mark the perfect man.

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Job 1:1

It is require of us when we mark the perfect man, to guard or protect. As we strive to perfection, our lives will be on target for destruction.

The perfect man for our attention to have a life of peace in the end is the man Jesus Christ.

For our sake he became flesh, dwelt among us and beheld his glory. Attend to his sayings.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Isa 32:17

We became Christians to live the pulsating life (zoe) of God. The life that we live, it is by Christ who has infused his resurrection life in us by his Word. By His Word living in us, we bear much fruits that remain producing a life of peace.

The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death. Ps 14:32

Jesus studied, worked the works of God and lived a life of peace. The marks of a perfect man we are to attend to.

Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Ps 37:4-6

By the Word, Jesus is building himself into us and through it we are made clean and free. Our life is a relationship with the Word, Jesus and this overflows to our sphere of contact.

The Word says...
But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. Lk 8:15

Doers of the Word are unshakable in the face of stiff opposition because they are built in and fortified by the Word put in practise.

The Word is Spirit which abides forever, creates visible and invisible things and it is powerful.
When the Word dwells in you, you and God, who is Spirit are a majority.

Beloved, mark the perfect man, I mean regard the Word in your heart and the end is a life of peace ...shalom.
