Remind Me

This is just a simple prayer that I lift up to you
Yahweh, God Almighty, Creator
Let my eyes remain fixed on you
Throughout each and every endeavor

Even though I may feel alone
Remind me that You are here for me
Let me appreciate what I have
And not give into self pity

When the past meets the present
And I want to shrivel and die
Remind me that these rough days
Will soon pass by

Father when I am tempted to lash out in pain
And act foolishly
Remind me that love is something
Given unconditionally

Yahweh, when pride wants to take over
Regardless of the cost
Remind me of its foolishness
And what it has lost

Sometimes I try to be too strong
And not ask for the help I need
Remind me Father that it ok to be weak
And to turn to You indeed

Yahweh, when I worry over a situation
And what the outcome may be
Remind me that You’ve already made the provision
For it to turn out for the best for me

I ask that You remind me
To keep my faith and trust in You
Remind me that regardless of what happens
You will see me through
