Most Americans have abrogated their God given right to travel by obeying man made laws governed by their local DMV. The following will explain some basic ideas so that you can recapture your lost freedom or liberty as believers in Jesus Christ.

Driving is commerce, that is, you get paid for driving as in driving a taxi cab or a limousine or a commercial truck. However most people are not technically speaking drivers but travelers. So you should erase that word from your vocabulary and stop saying you are driving when you are most likely traveling.

Traveling is using your car to get to work or to the store etc. Why should a person need permission from the State to do what God requires and desires?

Traveling is a God given right that humans have always enjoyed. People have the right to use the common way as long as they do not hurt their fellow man. A license does not make you a better traveler. It just gives the DMV control over you by requiring you to pay that corporation yearly fees, registration tags etc.

People are often told by the DMV and by liberals who believe in big government that you car registration fees and tickets etc go to pay for the roads you travel on.

The roads are suppose to be paid for by commercial drivers who get paid to drive. Truck drivers must travel at slower speeds because of their heavy loads. They are regulated by commercial law. Travelers are being subjected to arbitrary rules set up by the DMV, a corporation, in order to bring in revenue for the city and or state.

The presumption of DMV statues is that people do not know how to govern themselves but the law of God says all people are responsible for doing good and avoiding evil by following God's laws.

When men's laws contradict God's laws of self-governance then they ought to be challenged and disobeyed. Thus civil disobedience is a good thing otherwise you make the State God.

The State is not God.

The State is usurping God's laws in order to promote their own agenda. Think about this. Do you need the State to tell you whether you should wear a seat belt or not? Does not your own self-interest and welfare dictate whether you should wear a seat belt or not? Apply this same reasoning to travel speed. We have cars that can move at much faster speeds than the 1960's when speed limits were 55-65. The speed limits are basically the same as they were 50 years ago but modern cars are much faster and capable of faster travel speeds. The reason for keeping speed limits down is to bring in more revenue although the ostensible reason for such slow speeds is for the public safety.

Do you really believe the politicians have your health and safety in view when figuring out speed limit laws? If safety were the real issue then cops would not be allowed to break the law and talk on their phones or travel over the speed limit. Ah, there's a certain double standard and a tacit hypocrisy that goes unchallenged.

If truth be told the police are really acting as revenue collectors today to write tickets for those who travel over the arbitrary speed limits. Any person with common sense should know how fast he or she can travel safely without risking an accident. If they travel recklessly they will risk injury or death to themselves or another and so be guilty of murder. Travel within a speed that is safe. I'm glad to see people traveling faster these days but the fact is we are living in a police state and you'll notice people slowing down when a motorcycle cops pulls along side them.

Stop feeling guilty. Educate the cops and express your dislike for their actions. Cops should be catching criminals like thefts, murderers, rapists, kidnappers, robbers etc and not giving tickets to those traveling over speed limits etc. But if you have a driver's license then you signed your name on that contract (called an adhesion contract) and have agreed to obey the DMV codes. Suggestion. Get rid of that license and be free.
