Restores my Soul

Ps 23:3
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

And the Lord breathe into man's nostrils and he became a living soul. The bible declares ...

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Gen 2:7

In description, what is the Soul?

The Soul ...nephesh..hb, meaning ...Soul, self, life, creature, person, appetite, mind, living being, desire, emotion, passion

It is also that which breathes, the breathing substance or being, soul, the inner being of man

It is a living being with life in the blood

The Soul also refers to ....the seat of the appetites ....the seat of emotions ....the seat of passions (the desires of the flesh)

Furthermore the Soul is the ...activity of mind ....activity of the will ....activity of the character

In otherwords the Soul is an important part of the human nature God created, the place of choices and independence, a free moral agent.

The Soul is one part of the three-fold nature of man that is The Body, The Soul, and The Spirit

Depending on who rules this soulish nature of man, he can be full of God's glory or fall short of God's glory.
Satan succeeded intruding this nature to gain control and plunge man into darkness and disobedience.

Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me. Mic 7:8

To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living. Job 33:30

Satan corrupted the ....seat of the appetites ....seat of emotions ....the seat of passions. He gained mastery of the Soul nature of the ...activity of mind ....activity of the will ....activity of the character

Therefore we failed to please our maker, creator of the universe and filled our lives with darkness the world over.

God sending Jesus for us, crushed that power of Sin corrupting our soulish nature and set us free again.
Apostle Paul admonishes us that ...
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Gal 5:1

Jesus came and restored us back to the Father when we have gone astray.

In description ...
Restore ...shuwb..hb, meaning ...to cause to return, ....to bring back, ....allow to return, ...put back, ....draw back, ....give back, ...restore, ...relinquish, ...give in payment

It is also to ...refresh, ...make requital

Restore is furthermore ...to bring back to mind

Restore also means ...to reverse, ...to revoke

In otherwords Jesus has bought us back and reversed or revoked all that Satan has gained over us. Every legal desire of Satan over you because of sin, has been revoked and blotted out.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Lk 22:31-32

I pray O Lord ...
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Ps 51:12

To remain in our Restored position, He will bring to mind all that He has taught us by the Holy Spirit. That is we have a responsibilty to abide in His Word which is sharper than a Two-edge sword, our weapon of defence.

As you do, He perfects all that concerns you. He will restore your soul, the ..seat of the appetites ....seat of emotions ....the seat of passions, because the Holy Spirit will now direct you and make all things new and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Rom 8:5-8

As you yield the Soul nature, the ...activity of mind ....activity of the will ....activity of the character, to the Holy Spirit you will be renewed and conform to the image of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Staying Restored is a conscious and a continous effort to make our election sure and workout our own salvation with fear and trembling allowing to be led by the Holy Spirit.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Rom 8:14

Jesus ever lives to restore your soul.
