I don't regret one moment I have trusted in the Lord when all seemed hopeless.
I don't regret a time I have been rejected & shunned by those who don't believe, because my heart was in the right place hoping to see them get saved.
I don't regret the cursing and hatred that has been thrown in my face because I love Jesus. Nor do I regret being called a Bible thumper or holy roller. Nope, I reckon I'm just a little bit proud of it.
I don't regret one mile I have traveled for the Lord just to speak to someone who was lost about The Lord Jesus, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
Hmmm, ya know I don't even regret being shunned or push away by some of the Christian church folks who didn't think I measured up to their standards... That's between them and God, but God knows me well, and He loves me so much He often tells me how lonely He gets for me when I get a bit busy during the day. Man I like that!
(Chuckle) Well, I reckon I kinda feel like that ole' traveling cowboy preacher when some one looked at His wrinkled suit, his sun burnt and weather-worn face, his humble smile, and then glanced down at his Bible that had been highlighted, ear-marked, underlined and the binding was all frayed,,,, and they said to him.... "Ya think you bout got that ole' Bible of your'n all bucked out yet?".... and he replied laughingly, "Yep, I reckon, but I ain't gonna buy a new one, cuz on dis one here, well I already know where all my golden nuggets from the good Lord is at. Yes sir my ole' Bible may be falling apart, but it belongs to a man of God who ain't."
Nope, I reckon I don't regret anything anymore, Lead on Dear Lord Jesus!
