Kiss the Son

Ps 2:12
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

The psalmist is admonishing us to kiss the son. To express our love, affection and passion for the Son who has ransomed us.

If we do not kiss him, He will be angry with us.
We are to Kiss ...nashaq..hb, meaning ...to kiss, ...to equip with weapons, ...armed, ...rule, ...touch, the Son

In other words get equiped with the weapons of the Son or armed with Him all the way in order to be overcomers.

We are called into a relationship with Jesus. To love Him because He first loved us and gave himself for our ransom. This relationship must grow in all its aspects in order to access its privileges.
Jesus says ...
If ye love me, keep my commandments. Jn 14:15
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. Jn 15:10

Our Christan life is a warfare between light and darkness. In fact against spiritual wickedness in high places to derail our straight race marked out for us

To kiss the son means to abide with him and put on the whole armour. To have an affection for the Son and to get equiped with the Son.
Without this, Jesus will leave you to your own power and perish on the way. Why? We are powerless without him to face the enemy.

It pleases the Father that in Jesus should all fulness dwell and in Him God is well pleased. And...
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Jn 5:23

If we refuse to kiss the son, He will get angry with you and his wrath is kindled against you.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Jn 14:23

Satan will overpower us when we are not armed. Our mission is rule over him and all his cohorts of hell.
We will be able to exercise dominion when we have the father and son in our abode, then our words will possess the spirit and will be alive to work. Kiss the Son and love Him.

And I declare...
Father, I will kiss the son, let me be equipped by the Word in Jesus name
