Your Name Written in Heaven?

Lk 10:20
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, Heb 12:23

It means heaven has acknowledge and recorded your name as one who has received and confessed the name Jesus as lord and savior.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Jn 1:12

There is a register in heaven and In the register of God your name can be found and counted as a member of the household of God.

And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. Ps 87:5-6

Your name must be written ...grapho..gk, meaning ...to engrave, ...to write, ...to describe, in heaven.

In other words, in heaven before God and the innumerable company of angels, your name must be engraved or described in the book of the lamb.

It is not enough that the evil spirits are subject to our command but that making sure our names are written in heaven which is paramount.

It is true that we issued the command to the spirits but they bowed to the name and authority of Jesus. At that name every knee bows and tongues confesses to His Lordship.

This emphatic statement from Jesus our Lord should not be toyed with but by ensuring my name is written in heaven in the lamb's book. Make your election sure and sealed.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mt 7:22-23

It also calls to question, our names can be blotted out of the book if your name is already written. It therefore behooves on us to ensure our names are permanently written by our continuous abiding in our place in Christ Jesus.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Rev 3:5

Is your name written in heaven?

Irrespective of your status, you have to answer the question and ensure your place there. Nobody can do it on your behalf, it is a do it yourself booking.

I can lead you to book your place but it behooves on you to make sure it is actually written and the place reserve for you in your name.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev 20:15

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Rev 21:27

Beloved let us make sure our names are written in heaven so that we will not be a castaway in the final whistle.
