Something was stirring within my heart
didn't know the reason why
Then as it went on the question came up
and these words begin to come by

If truth is told why is it hard to agree
why do we amen" on whom we choose?
Why is it certain one's we give our voice
but to others we just plain refuse

Are we not reading from, the same bible
and all speaking the same things
Is God's love being excluded of judgement
does not right from wrong it brings

Every word of God is balance
and is helpful in the right places
It says lift up your voice like a trumpet
and not be afraid of their faces

We speak of God's love but reject corrections
and only hear what we want to hear
The word says whom He loves He chastises
which is a sign to me He's near

By giving me meat so I'll grow strong
leaving the milk so I can go higher
For the spiritual growth we all do need it
and our God is, the power supplier

It's not given to make one better than the other
for we all are under His grace
And God wants to fill each of His vessels
so to be well equipped for the race

Whenever that we refuse the truth
then we will come up short
Of having the knowledge that God requires
by accepting other plans of sort

Rebellion was one offence against God
hate and jealousy was a big crime
Having respect person's He frowned on
yes, it's happening time after time

We only accept in what we want
and we only want it our way
It doesn't matter anymore what God wants
or either what He has to say

We slam our hearts door on His warnings
and close our eyes to truth and grace
Not giving one thought that it was Him
and close the door right in His face

The question! Which God are you professing?
by what authority do you use His name
Is He only a God of love and mercy
and not fire, brimstone and flame

The God I speak of is longsuffering
but is also of swift judgement too
So don't fall in the hands of a angry God
listen to whom He sends to you

The word tells us all to humble ourselves
under the mighty hands of God
and in due time He will exalt me and you
so lets try to work on our pride

There are no big I's and little you's
for there is only but one true God
That reigns in hearts who truly believe
and to see Him, let love abide

So it's not in who I want to agree with
and not those in a book of fame
But deal justly, with all God's children
who speak truth and up hold His name

Isaiah 43;11 I even I, am the Lord;
and beside me there is no Savior
