One day as I was walking along,
trying hard to find my way home.
I was lost and hungry and getting tired,
And I felt so all alone.
But far off in the distance,
I could hear a Church Bell Chime.
I felt something calling me,
But I didn't have the time.

I wanted so much to keep going,
As night was falling and getting cold.
The darker it got and I couldn't see,
I felt even more so alone.
But still far off in the distance,
I could hear that Church Bell Chime.
A still small voice was calling me,
Saying come and give me your time.

So I headed in that direction,
Out across a big pasture field.
Those Church Bell Chimes grew louder,
The still small voice still drawing me near.
As I came nearer and nearer,
To that Church Bell ringing.
A little White Church came into view,
With a beautiful stained glass picture of Jesus,
Like a beacon drawing me near.

I stepped inside that Little White Church,
With the Church Bell ringing above.
I felt instant warmth and wonderful peace,
And knew it was God from above.
Calling me in by ringing that bell.
I dropped to my knee's to pray,
I asked Jesus into my heart right then,
And I've never been the same.

So when you hear those Church Bell Chimes,
And you're lost and so all alone.
Just follow those Chimes in their direction,
As they ring and draw you home.
Walk into that Little White Church right then,
And drop to your knee's and pray.
Ask Jesus right then into your heart,
And you will never be the same.
