Place Called Heaven

Have you ever really wondered,
What living here on earth would be like,
If we never had to worry, or we never had to fight.
To wake up every morning,
With only blue skies and sunshine overhead,
So when you go to sleep at night
You can't wait to get out of bed.

And when your feet hit the floor in the mornings,
You don't feel any pain anywhere.
You wake with a big smile and so full of Joy,
You raise your hands to Jesus,
And sit down in your big easy chair.
You pick up the Good Book and starting reading,
All the scriptures that comes to your mind,
Then you raise your hands to Heaven
And give Him Praise and Glory,
Because you know this day will be fine.

Well I for one believe Jesus,
In the Good Book He describes,
That beautiful place called Heaven
And the great joy of being alive.
When we walk the streets of pure gold,
In our new glorified bodies we'll receive.
We will walk hand and hand with Jesus,
Oh what a wondrous great joy that will be.

But until we can all reach Heaven,
And walk those beautiful streets of gold.
We must occupy what He's given us here
And strive each day to make it a home.
Let the joy of the Lord shine out around you,
Let others see the Peace of Him here.
Be a witness for the Lord to others,
So they to, can know Heaven is Real.
