Though this be true in whom or what to beieve
and in your rights in what to eat
But you shouldn't want God to overturn your table
for what he says you'll never out-beat

so what will your heart do if your enemy calls
and to ask for a loaf of bread
Will you open the door and accept the word
or take and throw it out instead

Their only helping to build the spiritual house
for God's thoughts are not like ours
And too much junk-food is not healthy for us
and not for long the soul it sours

Many dishes look good but did the Lord serve it
meaning was it from the masters plate
He won't feed me anything his is well and good
and will never arrive too late

So I can be mean and nasty and holy than thou
or I can be sweet, kind, and true
Humble as a lamb and have grace and mercy
which is expected of me and you

But it's still who's table you want to eat from
and it's really a individual affair
So you have that right in which one you choose
but there are still ones who care

So we say don't show my wrong I will not eat it
and my table I alone will spread
I want everything right but without the light
I'm satisfied of my kind of bread

O' precious King of Glory extend grace and mercy
for of your truths we want no more
Because your kind of bread is hard to swallow
sad many hearts, has closed the door

Don't let your table be overeturned by God
by giving the devil a seat
He is a deceiver, didn't abide in the truth
and his ways still only brings defeat
