Now the movie is closed the show is over
no more free tickets will I give out
No bad scenes to be shown at my theater house
it decided to move from this route

The sign boards are down no more previews
have thrown out every reel I had
I'm working on a better script for this life
and have bruned up all the bad

No more dark scenes will this film have
each act will have joy and glee
All the crying takes' no more I'll make
but to go with the happy spree

The roles will be strong lines wrote in wisdom
like, who has the say about your life's day
For you know how to write each play and part
and most certainly in how to pray

Don't need sorrowful acts , it will ruin the plot
but fill the scenery with lots of sun
And when it rains, I'll try not to complain
but instead make that day be fun

Now if things didn't happen on yesterday
and tomorrow it may not come
And if a week or two still nothing came through
don't let it make you sad and glume

Through the gloomy hours I'll pull up a smile
if that don't work I'll try to sing
And enjoy each mile on this road called life
and not throw the towel in the ring

I will keep seeking for the good in the bad
won't let misery to take my seat
don't need it's company, but welcome the joy
and there at the door I'll greet

Now this doesn't mean bad days won't come
and the hardships they too will be
A few storms will arrive at my door
but I still must believe in me

I find each day life is what you make it
and each one is left up to you
And in the middle of it all is always hope
and believe it's a way to get through

Sad but true some can't handle sad stories
but don't worry God has that ram
And if you pray and ask he'll send an answer
because you've put it in his hand
