As I was driving along the highway one day I noticed in the field
there was this green fence. It stretched all along the field all along
that highway. The highway was flat, no hills, no trees just a long flat
stretch. And I wondered how far it was going to go. Then the road
turned to hills and there was lots of trees lining the fields and I thought
wow...no fence. As I continued to drive it started to snow and it was
coming down pretty hard and fast, so of course I slowed down
because I knew the highway might start getting slick and it did. Those
hills were getting snow covered as the snow came down even harder
but I kept going. I came again along this flat stretch of highway and
sure enough there was that green fence in the field, and I thought
Hum....then I noticed...wow....the highway was clear, there was hardly
any snow on it at all and what was there just blew right on across, it
didn't stick. I thought...wow....that green fence must be Snow Fence
and seems to be holding back this snow from the road. As I continued
to drive and it continued to snow, I started to Pray and I ask God to
protect me as I kept going. As I continued to drive and Pray, the Lord
spoke to me and said..."I am with you always, but there are times when
things can get rough and there are hills and snow that covers your way
and you have to slow down and talk to me and trust me to see you
through.....then there are other times when things go smooth and that
road is clear....that's when all those trials and troubles just blow right on
across and that Green Snow Fence holds back all those bad things and
you can speed up because even then I am still with you". So I continued
to drive and it continued to snow and I had a long ways to go and the rode
would get hilly and tree lined....again the snow would be sticking and I
would slow down. And I noticed when I would be driving slow I would
talk to God and ask Him to watch over me and protect me and He did
and He does....but then the road would flatten out and sure enough
there was more Green Snow Fence and the road would be clear and
just snow blowing across and that fence holding back all that bad stuff
and I would speed up. But I noticed I didn't talk to God during that time
because He told me He was still with me even when things were clear.
But you know I felt bad because I was only talking and praying to God
when the road was hilly and snow covered and I had to slow down and
I was scared. But when the road was clear and I could speed up its like
I forgot about praying to God. Like I didn't need Him then. Oh I felt so
ashamed because God is with me at all times, good and bad, clear or
snow covered. Then I realized God is my Green Snow Fence always.
He walks me through the rough hilly and snow covered times and walks
me through the clear and easy times as well. I need Him always no
matter what. So as I continued to drive with the snow still coming down
I asked God to forgive me because I Love Him so much and I don't
want to ever hurt Him. I just started Thanking Him for not only seeing
me through those hard times with the snow covered hills but also for
those clear roads where all the bad is held back by that Green Snow
Fence and the rest just blows right on across. Its then that I realized
that Green Snow Fence is God's Almighty Hand reaching down from
Heaven and holding back all that bad stuff....watching over me....
protecting me through the rough and the clear times. As I get to my
destination, I stop my car and I sat there for a long time just praying
and Thanking Almighty God for His protection and safe travel....because
you see....I need Him everyday....through snow and sun...through
trials and good times. When there is a Green snow Fence along my
way and where it's flat and clear and the bad is being held back and the
rest just blows on across. He is with me always. So we all to remember
to reach for Almighty God everyday....through good and bad times.
To Thank Him and Praise Him for His Love....Because He Loves us
more than we will ever know.
