Ever felt you were born to nag, you were sent here just for that reason?
Your emotions swaying back and forth like a Ferry in Summers' season?
Do you liken yourself to Hitler, giving orders as best as you can?
Then you know they have won, when the kids, [for some fun] salute you with 'Mine Capitan!".

Each morning at breakfast an argument starts and you swear with a capital 'S'!
It's 8.45 and the dog takes a dive as the house is a terrible mess!
'Where's my socks?" Where's my books?" All you get are black looks, turned to stone in 22 paces.
'Time to go', you now snarl, as they jump in the car,
still with sneers pasted upon their faces!

Drop them off, the car sighs, now it's 9.25 and you sputter towards a Garage.
'It's your brakes, no mistake' [with that smile on his face],
the grease monkey, [as oily as rags] gives a price so obscene, that I felt I should scream, as he offered to light up my fag!

I get home around 10, then I start once again to resume some
sense with some order.
I pray to the sky, [as a bird passes by]
to make me a much better Mother!

I applaud you for being a mother. I don't have kids, and don't know how women do it. Don't be so down on yourself, i.e.
"I'm a nag.". Children have to learn how to act, and cope in the world, and only learn at home through their parents. Wait till they're out in the work world, and
have to put up with a real "mine capitan"! I think that parents aren't
strict enough, these days. I think you are courageous, and doing great. God bless.
