I often think of a few of my poems I shouldn't share,

Because, they express such hurts and so many a care.

I almost feel like I'm having others read of the real me,

Who feels so messed up, yet trying to preservere and see,


I'm not the only one who struggles and continues to fall.

I should be sharing my experience, not putting up a wall.

I must see that there really are people out there like me,

I can only hope, some who are reading this can also see.

Yourself, in some of the lines that I try so hard to convey,


Yet, remember tbe words will not and aren't made to stay.

So, I'm not going to hold back any more and may God bless,

You who are reading now, feeling like you too are in a mess.

Don’t hold back, try to let all the hurt, from you slowly go,

And all the while, God will be there for you call upon to know,


That holding back will cause you to go deeper in your pain.

Let it go, and with grace, I pray the hurt will begin to wane…
