TIME MOVES

Have you ever heard yourself having a self conversation, or even with someone else saying “Oh my God! The year is drawing towards the end already”. This has happened to me before and I believe it has happened to most people and sad to mention that it shall still continue to happen for some people. Why is this so? Very often than not we usually make some resolutions and as time goes by we get engrossed with something else as other things crop up to detract us. As this happens before you know it the season is over and you are still midway and not even halfway through. When this happens you will feel cold running down your spine and you give up.

This is not the time to quit though, but it is a time of self evaluation to see where you may have missed it; recap and do it again. The bible tells us in the book of Isaiah 46:9 to remember the former things of old. We should remember what the Lord did to the biblical characters like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David and all the Prophets. Whatever He promised, He always reminded them and ensured that it came to pass. The same God who gave you the idea will ensure that you attain it. Whenever you make a plan or resolution, remember the Lord your God, involve God from the beginning, as much as you would like to involve Him when things get tough.

God is not interested on how you started but He is more interested on how you finish. As time moves ensure that you are also moving in your endeavors. Always have checkpoints to see how much you have moved against the time that has moved and in so doing you will be able to be in synch with the passing of time.
