Deep down all I want to do is lie down and not get up!
I’d really like something full and brimming from my cup!
Not something that feels so empty and drives me mad!
I do not want to have feelings that are so woefully sad!
It isn't necessary and need not be experienced so much!
God wants more for you and me, not sadness and such.

Deep down, he wants our hearts to be so full of Hope!
So we will and can better, as through our can trials cope,
With the knowledge, that someone cares deeply for us all,
He will hold us up, when you feel you’re drowning and fall.
Be filled with joy, strength and hope from our great God...
He will tell you, you can withstand the hard storms you trod.

And that He will be your constant guide as on if life you go,
Hopefully being still and knowing that God will reach down low.
To be with you and stay, is a hopeful truth, you need to know…
