This world can be a very tough place to be,
Try your best to not let that rob you of joy.
God will and can erase pain, wait and see,
Friends can wipe the tears on the outside,
But, only our God can wipe the ones at heart.
Where deep inside, it causes you much pain,
Everything’s bottled up, making you fall apart.
Go to the One who offers Hope and Strength.
As your whole world comes crashing on in!
Yet on its path, it often does rob you of joy.
Not good, turn to Jesus – let Him help you win.
The battle at the heart that causes you to hurt,
Your mind must be focused on Christ alone!
When it hurts, that’s the first place to seek.
When your life becomes way more than a…
Battlefield!
