I live in a world of darkness.
The sky is black and the soil barren;
Naught grows here but ugly, misshapen things.
Welcome.

Greed took me here,
Come to my old home
With offers of counterfeit hope;
Wings of brightest gold to fly
To a prosperous land of beauty.
Liar!

Beauty....exists no longer, stolen by Greed;
He who feeds me to the creature Lust.
Little pieces at a time,
Lust feeds and Greed grows stronger,
They will never be full,
Lust is always hungry and Greed never tires,
Little pieces.

A door opens,
It's brightness consumes;
Sears!
It's not real...a trick!
A trick...

She says her name is Comfort,
I don't know her.
She says the brightness will not hurt forever,
So scared.
She says Justice came and struck down Lust and Greed,
I don't know who that is.
She holds me.
Holds me.

Is this what I look like in the light?
