Each day I struggle with this internal conflict
The affective tug of war immersed in what seems so complex
So diverse, yet so simple
What plagues my mind and stifles my heart?
It is my desire
I simply cannot give up what I want
Even to replace it with that which I Love
I am so afraid of loosing the possibility of it
Going with it my ability to be found
Taking with it my identity
Only to end up with a faceless image in the mirror
As if with it my very life will be lost as well

Yet I forget that the everlasting is now mine
This is but a temporary state prevailing within a withering tent
And as my flesh is, so is my desire
Even when gained it can give only so much
Its destiny is destruction
For there is nothing I can do to deter its end
But my life,
My body,
My Spirit,
Now exist in forever
My citizenship is now in heaven
It is there that I will finally begin my life
And it is there where it will never end
