Sneaky and crafty is the enemy of our souls with the use of words and verbal images which create our thoughts and opinions on many subjects.

Without realizing it we fall prey to advertising commercials, for instance. They are psychologically researched to plant thoughts in our minds and images for our eyes to envision. They are cute, funny, informing and convincing, and almost without a question about the validity of the content, we receive those messages.

We get duped in many such instances, but there is yet a more serious source of being deceived than by the commercials we see and hear from our media, and it is from the mouths of those who say they are the Prophets, Preachers, and Teachers, of God's Word.

Jeremiah, Chapter 23 is filled with complaints from God about the Prophets speaking their own thoughts and telling their own dreams and thereby duping the people and leading them astray from God and His Word.

The reigning idea in the Church culture of today is that God can have only one emotion: either He is Angry, and watching to punish us for every little wrong, or He is the God with the one emotion of Love, that will hold no one accountable for anything done. Neither of these is correct as a "stand alone" characteristic of God.

God should be no mystery to us; we should understand Him, having some knowledge of His ways, that is IF we read the Scriptures regularly. But IF we do not, then we are subject to deception.

We are warned by the information found in James, Chapter 3, "... teachers preachers, will be judged by a stricter judgment."

Those who handle the Word of God must be certain that they instruct the Scriptures just as they are written, and not become themselves victims of the "Bible Buffet Syndrome," taking only what they like and throwing the rest away.

Today we have the greasy easy grace being taught that does not inform the hearers of God's judgment on the sins practiced by those who have received Jesus into their hearts. "It is all forgiven, you don't even need to repent."

Who, in their right mind, would disparage "The Grace of God." Not I!

The confusion is that God's correction would be viewed as "not the actions of a loving God."

Grace does not mean Indulgent.

Who would dare to diminish the love of God? God's love is eternal and His Own proclamation is that He loves each one of us without reserve. The balance is that He also tells us in His Word that He is watching over us to keep us safe, and if we are falling into a sinful practice, He will bring a correction to the matter. God says so.

God is a Father. God is a loving Father. Think about it, what loving father do you know that allows his child to get hurt, even destroyed?

The fact is that we do not need to use equations and similes to find the truth; the Bible tells us plainly what God does and Who He is and how He handles matters in His dealings with us, blessing us with both commendation and correction.

Maybe we don't get it, but He is of the notion that He is God and that we are the thing created, and that we should do as He says because His one purpose is to save us, keep us safe, and get us to Heaven eventually, all the while we are the true messengers of His salvation, His Representatives, while on this earth.

Doing whatever, living in practices that God calls sin is surely enough reason and license for us to call that action a sin.

God judges sin; however, we will be spared God's judgment if we will judge ourselves and stop the sinful practice. I Corinthians 11:31

As the Sheep of Jesus Christ, we must listen to His Voice; we hear that voice most frequently when reading the Scriptures. Scripture texts create images and ideas that come from God and are then a filter for us when the enemy tries to convince us that untruth is truth.

Schizophrenia is a debilitating biological dysfunction, and a thing for God to heal, hearing the voice of God brings healing.

Go ahead, hear the voice of God! Don't absorb the naysayers voices who call it schizophrenic! Don't either believe them when they say that God no longer judges sinful actions done by His people.

God says we are to hear Him speak to us, so let the naysayers think again and tremble for their invalid instructions. Jeremiah 23
