The Measure of Faith

Rom 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.


For without faith it is impossible to please God. It is your faith alone that honours him.

For this reason God has given to us all the measure of faith when we are born anew. Like a startup capital.

So you have faith to produce results.

It is then your duty to grow your faith and exercise the tensile nature of faith.

Faith ...pistis..gk, means ...persuation, ...moral conviction of the truthfulness of God, ...reliance upon Christ for salvation, ...constancy in such profession, ...assurance, ...belief, ...believe, ...faith, ...fidelity,.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Heb 11:1

In other words, faith is reliance on the Word of promise from God which cannot lie or change and Holding on to the truthfulness of God's Word and constancy in such profession.

Is your faith little or great? Is it weak or strong? This depends on you, the ability to grow your faith and put it to work.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Rom 10:17

The amount of faith you have is equivalent to the amount of the Word of God you have heard. The more you hear, the more faith grows in your heart.

Faith is a spiritual force found in our heart, that is our spirit not of the mind. It is the response of your spirit to the Word of God.

Faith is what your spirit eye has seen happened and walking in the reality or substance of it now. In other words, see your healing in the spirit realm, catching it and walk in the reality of your healing now.

God has dealt ...merizo..gk, meaning ... to part, ...to apportion, ...bestows, ...share, ...distribute, ....divide, to you the measure of faith.

That measure of faith you have must grow and enlarged and exercised.

For by it the elders obtained a good report. Heb 11:2

Faith works by love action. Without works faith is dead.

That is when you pray for God's provision of money then by the works of faith you will make provision to pay your bills.

When you pray to be healed then by that measure of faith you get out of the sick bed which is the works accompanying your faith for healing.

Strong faith always maintains the confession or profession no matter the opposition. It is a fight of faith.

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; Rom 4:20

The opposition to our faith and the exercising of our faith brings strengthening which helps to build on that level of the measure of faith.

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Jude 1:20

Strong faith results from exercising the Word of God you have heard.

Increase your measure of faith by hearing more of God's Word and be doers of the Word. Exercise the Word of faith your have as ocassion demands no matter how small it is, it can move mountains.

The measure of faith you have is what you use to put a demand or draw on the graces of God. If it is less, get more to put the demand.

Jesus responds to our measure of faith only. Not your cry or because you have suffered so much or its been long in that situation.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb 11:6

Faith is more than believing. Believing is the end of the rope you have and faith starts when you have run out of rope or after the end of the rope.

Believing prepares your connection to faith in the unseen Word sitting on the throne.

The measure of faith you build up is what you will use to put up the demand. Increase it.

O Holy Spirit, open my heart to your Word, Faith and Spirit in Jesus name. Amen.
