Increase the fruits of Righteousness

2 Cor 9:10
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

Righteousness is a gift we received from God courtesy of Jesus Christ our Lord. It is not by any works that we have done but God has imputed His righteousness to us by grace.

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: Rom 3:21-22

Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Rom 4:7-8

For ....much more they which receive.... the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Rom 5:17

Have you received this gift of God?

All have sinned and therefore fell short of God's righteousness.

There is a difference between righteousness and right living. Right living is good but it is not righteousness.

Righteousness ...dikaiosune ..gk, meaning ... equity, .... innocent, ...holy ...just.

God has declared you innocent, acquitted and discharged you from all offenses. Formally declared not guilty

Why?

Jesus was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Rom 4:25

We are justified, formally declared innocent, we have peace with God. Rom 5:1

Righteousness is imputed to the human spirit which gives it the ability to do right. It must be received.

The fruits of righteousness is right living or the ability to do right.

As a tree of righteousness we are admonish to increase the fruits of our righteousness by your seed sown for it.

Therefore, Increase ...auzano ...gk, meaning ... to increase ...enlarge ... to grow, your fruits of righteousness

Jesus is able to multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness because He it is that minister the seed.

The ingredients to help increase the fruits of righteousness is in Jesus, the Word.

As we water the tree with the Word, the more we enlarge and multiply the fruits of righteousness and the ability to live right on all our pathways.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Jas 1:27

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Php 1:11

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: 1 Thes 3:12

So beloved in Christ ...
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Hos 10:12

The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. Pro 11:18

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 2 Cor 9:6

Jesus Christ that ministers seed to the sower ....multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
