FRIENDS OR ENEMIES

What kind of enemies do you have – of course, the nasty kind who are mean and spiteful!

Have you ever had a nice enemy, one who was kind and/ or thoughtful to you?

Would an enemy do something nice; would an enemy ever help you? They wouldn’t be an enemy if they did!

Would an enemy ever take your punishment for you? Even to give their life for you?

Certainly not – enemies only hurt and destroy – foes never help or assist you.

So if someone went out of their way to help you, they would be your friend – yes indeed.

If someone died in your place, they would really, really, really have to care about you.

No one would aid you unless they got something out of it, or they really cared for you.

Jesus, like any compassionate Parent, really, truly, actually cares about humanity.

He cares so much, He was willing to sacrifice His life so His children could have a second chance.

Jesus or God is not your enemy, enemies don’t suffer for their adversaries, only their friends.

Has anyone else ever died for you? Christ is truly your best Friend forever and eternally.
