PAY ATTENTION

My God Almighty … Is shouting out to you
Open your eyes … and your ears to hear
For crying out loud … Pay attention

Can you not see … What is happening all around you

This world is coming down … He’s about had enough
Of you piddly little clowns … Thinking you are so tough
You are muddy little creatures … He made you himself
He gave you funny little features … In a mirror you call yourself
You pat it and you paint it … And poke diamonds in your nose
And you will until you’ve fainted … As he brings your world to a close
All he ever wanted … Is YOU whom he has made
But all you do is taunt him … As you mis-behave
But he will not have you … If you don’t want to go
He allows you to choose … You can join all the hoes’

There is a place prepared … That was not his desire
That you can choose to share … With the one who was fired
Or pay attention to the rumble … Of the troubled skies
And choose to be humble … And don’t believe the lies
