JUDGMENT/REWARDS

When the judgment day comes … How will you stand
The good works that you have done … Did your Praise come from man
Do you quietly accept … A heartfelt amen
Or do you expect … Some praise from men

The things that you do … Does anyone know
Is there a man who approves … Or in fire will it glow
Precious stones … Or Hay and stubble
All that you own … Or was it a struggle

Your sins are forgiven … That’s not the question
It’s what is in Heaven … That you will rest in
It will be in Praise … The rewards you have won
How high you are raised … Will depend on what burned

The works that you do … Is not what you must
But simply to prove … That in God you trust
It must come from your heart … From looking above
You do your part … Because of Love
