HEAVEN IN A BLINK

Einstein claimed … That the speed of light
Could not be attained … Within mans’ might
Nothing is faster … Is what he believed
Considered himself master … Of all he could see

It’s the matter of time … That we’re dealing with
But what of mans’ mind … A thought is swift
If I could think … Of a place to be
Faster than a blink … Then be there you see
I have just traveled … Faster than light
And only can marvel … At what could be … My Heavenly plight

I have always been restless … So hard to sit still
My thoughts always guesses … What’s over the hill
What awesome wonders … All Heavenly
Above and down under … I want to see

The dream of a prize … A thing that won’t burn
I’ll be surprised … At what I have earned
To be an explorer … Of all creation
An eternal wanderer … Satisfied passion


Only God knows … His plans for me
But as I grow … I soon will see
My heart yearns … For my destiny
To see what I’ve earned … I just want to flee

It’s a Beautiful Home … That he has made for us
But not here we belong … Our true home above
Placed here to learn … About what … God has done
Do works that won’t burn … Glorify the Son

So while I am here … I patiently wait
Having no fear … Of the Heavenly Gates
My hope is to escape … From the hell that is coming
Before it’s too late … Toward God come running

In the blink of an eye … It will be but a twinkle
Most others will die … Or slowly wrinkle
But it needs not be … You can come with us
To be set free … You need only trust

Only Jesus is truth … And the only way
You can see the proof … This earth will decay
Just open your mind … It’s not hard to see
The truth you will find … Only believe
