A MAN WITH SOME FIRE

My God Almighty … We need a man who has some fire
A man who won’t speak lightly … And who is not for hire
The people need awakening … Even hammered on their heads
They need a real shaking … All these walking dead

They need to open their eyes … And see what’s coming down
They need to know they’re going to die … If they don’t turn around
A man standing tall … And not afraid to shout
To be a guard on the wall … Shouting what it’s about

A man of gloom and doom …Is what ...He will ... Be called
But are they deaf to the booms … How close they need to fall
Do they need to drop nearer … To their own back doors
Before they will hear ‘em … Before they fall to the floor

My God if you will hear it … Pease send us such a one
Who is filled with your Spirit … Will convince them of your Son
