United We Stand

Today my life feels empty
And my heart is filled with pain
I sit here and I wonder
"Will life ever be the same"?
Yesterday I had a family
And my life was all intact
And then without a warning
The terrorists attack.
Many lives were lost that day
And they think that they have won
But instead of them dividing us
They've united everyone.
Today we call upon our God
To help to keep us free
And we are depending on his strength
To give us victory.
He is our nation's mighty power
Our strength, our shield and rod
So we must put our faith in Him
Our Almighty, Infinite God
