FREED FROM PRISON

When finally I pondered … Why am I here
Began to wonder… Why it’s not clear
Who am I really … From where did I come
And will I finally … Ever be welcomed

Was it by chance … I even exist
Some strange dance … In a swirling mist
So why do I think … Or even have thoughts
What is this thing … I have been bought

The evil that’s in me … He has put aside
Now filled with glee … I will not die
The truth I found … When the search began
God’s Love unbound … For created man

His only Son … Was given to us
Freed from the prison … Of our own lusts
Now only believe … Is all he desires
Not hard to see … To avoid the fires

He is coming again … The promise is sure
The final curtain … And all is pure
