Forgetting God and the consequences thereof! The book of Deuteronomy 32 is quite explicit in how God feels about His creation not following laid down path and principles.
Straying from the RIGHT path brings about grievous consequences as we see all around us in our world today.

15. Jeshurun grew fat and kicked;
filled with food, they became heavy and sleek.
They abandoned the God who made them
and rejected the Rock their Savior.

They made him jealous with their foreign gods
and angered him with their detestable idols.

They sacrificed to false gods, which are not God—
gods they had not known,
gods that recently appeared,
gods your ancestors did not fear.

You deserted the Rock, who fathered you;
you forgot the God who gave you birth

Right across the globe there is a phenomenon so strage but consistent in intensity of astounding wickedness... Verses 27- 30

it seems as if the word's of this particular portion of the Bible (and many others like it , of course!) are spoken to warn us all

Verse 43 proclaims good news though, there is still a chance of 'redemtion'to make a U-Turn and detour from ALL that angers the almighty and has made Him turn His FACE away from us .

Arise people , heed the call, return to your maker, give Him due benevolence and regard...

3.I will proclaim the name of the Lord.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!

4.
He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is He
