First Peter 2:9 says but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

As Christians, must show the world Christ. I have said it before and I will say it again, your best witness is not so much what you say, but how you live. Whenever you tell someone you are a Christian, you will be watched like a hawk. Even though we are not perfect, the world will still take note of our conduct.

The devil does not want us to show the world Christ, he wants us to show the world the devil. The world hates Christ and they love the devil because they love the sin. We all did. As strange as that sounds, the reality is that it’s either Jesus or the devil. There is no middle ground.

Far too long, the devil has made a mockery of the church. Gospel hip-hop and praise dancing for example, have polluted the sanctuary. The pulpit which is also supposed to be holy have been changed to a performing arts theatre for church plays and other theatrics that is simply not God ordained. Sorry to bust your bubble but Jesus Christ ain’t no rapper. There are no celebrities in Christ. Go to a third world nation in the middle east or the far east and tell me if you see any Christian celebrities there.

Man is ordaining himself instead of God. Christians are doing reality and talent shows mixing with the world so now world thinks they’re saved too. As wonderful as women preach, I doubt if God ordained women apostles, bishops or pastors. If he did, kindly show me the scriptures. It appears that we are doing whatever we want in the body of Christ and the devil is having a ball laughing at us. We must show the world that Jesus is real in our lives. I believe that some Christians want the world to view us as cool. While the church is looking cool, the devil is taking souls to hell.

In conclusion, let us come out of the world and continue in Christ. We cannot fit in with the world and be considered true Christians, especially when Christians are doing everything the world is doing. Salvation is serious business. God means business and so does the devil. The gospel of Jesus Christ is not for entertainment purposes, it is not a show. People have been getting killed because they are Christians since new testament days and will continue to die for the name of Jesus. The only way we can show the world Christ is to put on the Lord Jesus Christ but from the heart. Not to the glory of man but to the glory of God. Amen.
