I long to smell his sweetness
so innocent and pure
To stroke his velvety cheek
to touch his silken hair
I long to hear his voice
bubbeling with child like glee
To look over and to see
him smiling back at me
I long to hear his name
pass from other peoples lips
To know that they remember
that they will not forget
I long to hold him in my arms
and snuggle him close to me
To surround him with my love
and hug him endlessly
I long to have the chance
if only one last time
Instead I sit and weep
and hurt so deep inside...
