When I look back at life
I see a small child
Opening her eyes to the reality of this world
A long way to go yet in the road ahead.

When I look back at life
I see a young schoolgirl
Totally engrossed in the academics offered
Her only goal to learn as much as she can.

When I look back at life
I see a teenager
Awaiting to explore life to the full
Meeting the challenges of youth days.

When I look back at life
I see a woman stepping into a new zone
Away from the sheltered nest of home
To venture into a strange new world.

When I look back at life
I see the rosy roads so easy to follow
I also see the trials that came along with it
A struggle to overcome all at each new step.

When I look back at life
I see destiny trying to overpower my efforts
I also see a divine hand extended over me
To help me win every hurdle and battle against time.

When I look forward in life.
I see the future on the sky lined horizon
Unsure of what each day will present
But surely guided by the Creator who never left me ever.

When I look to the open heavens
I see the answer to every prayer of mine
The spirit who speaks to me in my heart
Awaiting my arrival for a permanent stay
With no more farewells or separate ways.
