A lifetime is not enough
To grasp the true meaning of life
To feel the deep passion of emotions
To yearn for such never ending moments.

A lifetime is not enough
To understand the wisdom of life
To realize we could have done things
In a much more different and staying way.

A lifetime is not enough
To appreciate the beauty of life
To hold fast to passing days and nights
And secretly long for the immortality of such.

A lifetime is not enough
To preserve the gentle care of loved ones
To know them in a more personal way
And desire for a never parting say.

A lifetime is not enough
To bask in the friendship flame
To feel the loyal warmth of true friends
And thank God for such as these that he sends.

A lifetime is not enough
To touch the sweetness that love can bring
To possess it completely in our heart
A heavenly awareness when souls touch hearts.

A lifetime is not enough
To keep giving and spreading love
A love which re-grows every morn
Stronger than the day before.

A lifetime is not enough
To comprehend the mysteries from above
The knowledge that stands incomplete in the world
To be made fully known besides the heavenly throne.

A lifetime is definitely not enough
To live the days chartered in our names
Know you and me will continue both
To live and love beyond this earth.
