The Voice

He is a voice in the wind
A hand with the lightest touch
He pours out His grace
Even to a diamond in the rough
We all journey on this road so long
Making small steps that transform to be its greatest song
So lovely a journey, yet so steep
I rise with Him, then at times forget His name.
Not uttering a peep.
He forgets me not, His love is never failing.
Consistent, strong, Mighty, my healer,
In His love I’m sailing
Joy so deep, I burst forth from my comfort.
Ignite what burns to share, my heart flutters.
The gospel of Jesus, the eternity with Him.
So precious, so important, treat it with love and care.
One’s eternity in sight, Holy Spirit moving in flight.
He soaks up their spirit and desires to know and heart it.
He loves his children beyond compare. No hesitation or stutter as his laughter fills the air.
A new spirit in His kingdom.
Rejoice and be assured.
Rest my child. You have been obedient.
Reflect, don’t rush. Remember all you endured.
Put away all distractions so that you can fully see.
The greatness and loveliness I see in you has come completely from me.
The enemy tugs at your heart, a new challenge awaits
Be wary but do not forget to enjoy as I open up my gates.
In you only Jesus I see, be at rest and lay still in My peace.
Breathe deeply and forget not
The price that was paid for you, the love He gives freely, and the reason he fought.
