The end is drawing near
Our hearts not ready
Relationships built, so pure so steady.
Their hearts on fire.. one greater Desire.
Their love shown as His.. In humble servitude..
To live is HIm.
Him who died, who gave us Life, who has revealed our sin
Leaving no trouble within.
Therefore, there's grace.
Learned of acceptance did I
My heart constantly tried
To lean on His promises, His unfailing love
My weaknesses shown, how each of us has grown
To explain simply is unknown.
This fire inside, no longer able to hide
IN sharing whether accept or deny.
He loves, He's eternal, He is life.
The sun beats on my skin as i reflect,
and wonder if God's hand touches their lives even when they have not even a bed..
He intervenes, I take comfort in this.
My tears shed,
My broken soul for these people longs for grace's tender kiss.
A life undeserved. They have no money, do they miss, but yet i see.
They have greater faith than my eyes can foresee, joy fails to go Amiss.
For their smiles are brighter than the grand Ethiopian sky,
Their hope, their simplicity, in daily struggle, they fail to Deny.
The Power and Glory of the one who Died.
Vanity no reason,
Long sleeves whether in shine or rainy season.
Big brown eyes longing for an explanation, for money to feed hungry mouths.
A young one says, " Please.. my grandmother is dying with nothing to eat but lentils.. her cancer is growing... my hope is slowing.. but yet... God is Good and Sovereign. Let's praise Him.
I leave with no speech uttered.
My heart sunk deep in my chest.
Here we live a life of luxury, while some no place to rest their head
I feel sick. I feel weak. Why did God intend for this?
Yet He said, "This is why I made you. Go and make disciples of many nations. Love them dearly, I'll take care of the rest.
He is faithful in all things, even my daily doubt He comforts.
His outstretched arm, I take His hand
And lean on HIs guidance through the storm and proclaim,
"Please Father, bring them home to You. As I depart, touch this nation, this city, these people. Remember their struggles, their pain so real. LIES i see among them in the name of orthodox, but Your truth has power. Your name is Greater, in Nothing will you be stopped.
To live is Christ, nothing more, nothing less.
To die is gain.
Lord Jesus Christ, in this I Rest.
