Darkness moved closer as evil eyes glimmered with a spark of deadly hope. His black hands trembling with excitement as he glanced behind the white clad figure to the decaying skeleton quietly creeping up behind his soon to be his victim. The darkness laughed. This trick would paralyze her for years! At last, with one wicked step the skeleton tapped her on the shoulder. 'Hi,' he caught her arm as she turned. 'Wanna take guess at who I am?' His skinless fingers seemed to squeeze the very life out of her pounding heart. 'I'm... your.... past,' each word dripped with horrible laughter. Shock and terror washed over her face as she sank to her knees. 'Not...not...not you...please' she begged but to no avail. 'Jesus!' His name only whispered through trembling lips and suddenly the death grip loosened. 'Don't you dare say that name!' the skeleton screamed in agony. Hope filled her eyes. 'Jesus! Jesus! Help me!' tears of relief dripped off her chin as her Father's familiar frame came into view.His love like a gentle healing balm soothed her hurting heart as He knelt down and brushed her tears away. 'Send them away' she begged Him.'I don't ever want look at them again!' Sadly He shook His head, picked up her small hand and helped her to her feet. 'Daughter I will not make them leave.' 'YOU must face them.' 'With Me by your side the battle is already won.'
