CELEBRATE THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF OTHERS

God has called us to be selfless. He demands of us to share what we have worked for with others. We have to be in the shoes of our neighbors and feel what they feel, see what they see. When my neighbor has lost a loved one and I join them in mourning their loss, then what should stop me from celebrating my neighbor’s victories?

It is not an easy way to climb to the ladder of success for the more you go up the more potential energy you convert. Towards the top of the ladder of success the stairs are not even and one mistake could lead to a fatal fall. This has resulted in people reaching to the top one by one. Today it is you at the top; tomorrow I might be joining you. And those at the top if you call for help they will be the ones to pull your hand up; they will be the ones to encourage you to keep going. In this life we need each other.

Do not frown when your neighbor has achieved something that you do not have, even if you already have it you should not show disdain. Your neighbor might have built a new house, finished their university degree or even married. These things are good before the Lord, rejoice with them and wish them well. This is a great testimony that if they achieved then it shows that it is possible to be achieved. Tomorrow they may be the ones assisting you to reach the peak.

Celebrate others achievements as if it is your own. Commemorate those achievements. Are you aware that the Easter Holidays that you celebrate each year are someone else’s achievement? These are the days that Jesus triumphed death through His death for us. Are you aware that the independence celebrations that you host in your country are somebody’s achievement? Celebrate the achievements of others.
