Receiving Divine Healing from Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ wants His children to experience healing and live healthy. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 2 KJV). Sicknesses and diseases do not glorify the name of our God. The body of a Christian is the temple of the Holy Spirit. The Bible declares, “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” (1 Corinthians 6: 19 KJV).  If this is so, how can the Holy Spirit and diseases dwell together in the same house, which is your body?  

Ignorance of the promises of God concerning healing can make a sick Christian be in bondage for many years. If a Christian is sick, the first thing to do is Prayer; then immediately he should seek for medical help. Please, after prayer, go to hospital or call for your doctor. Some Christians pray and ignore medical help. They call their act, Faith. But I call it, Pride. Modern medications are blessings from our God, so make good use of them.

Some Christians rely solely on medications and ignore prayer. This is very dangerous. Prayer and Medical help are ideal for a sick Christian. Do you know that you can take some medications prescribed by your doctors, and no healing will take place? It is God that heals us, either through medications or not. Hear Him, “……… I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee” (Exodus 15: 26 KJV).

Having prayed over your sickness in the name of Jesus; the Lord takes over. Really? Absolutely, this is true. He heals you in His own ways and time. You must believe that He is able to heal you. Listen to Him: “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” (Mark 11: 24 KJV). This does not mean that you should stop your medications; please, continue to consult your doctors.

I would also like to recommend that you seek for your Pastor’s counsel and prayers. The Lord, that says and does it, shall bring healing your way in Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you are a non-Christian, and you want healing from Jesus Christ; you must surrender your life to Him by inviting Him into your life. Will He listen to me? Yes, Jesus does not discriminate or reject anyone that comes to Him. He says this, “……… and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6: 37 KJV). Coming to Him makes you become a child of God, and automatically have access to all the promises of God in the Bible, including the promises of divine healing for Christians.

The Lord Jesus Christ is a loving, kind, and approachable God. Come to Him today and receive your divine healing.

It is well with you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
