It still amazes me every day when I think about my life now and contrast it with my life just one short year ago...and the profound difference between the two...and the miracle that God wrought that brought about the change.

I think of my 'former' life as one lived like that saying about Englishmen...living lives of quiet desperation...well that was me.... working hard at a job I disliked, living for the weekend, so I could have some free time.... only having to use it to do all the chores I didn't have time for during the week...and still considering myself fairly happy...simply not knowing the treasure and wonder that Jesus had in store for me.

Then I met you...and we fell in love...and we married...and oh the change all that brought!

No longer any 'quiet desperation’...it has been replaced with eager anticipation.... with love so deep we'll never, ever reach the bottom...with unspeakable joy in every moment spent with you...the biggest lottery winner is not nearly as rich as I...my wealth is unimaginable, but not counted as the world counts...but wealth that cannot be spent away...it can only be spent and replenished.... and every morning I thank God with all my heart for the incredible wonder, joy and beautiful love he has poured out on me by giving me you.

Every day His mercies are new...and every day our love is renewed...deeper and more wonderful than yesterday's...filled with the joy of love fulfilled.
